Work experience

I am a Researcher of the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics (ICMP) of the NAS of Ukraine.

I investigate condensed systems with use of the molecular dynamic simulation method. I have developed the MD code employing FORTRAN. It is used now on the high-performance computing cluster of  ICMP and the similar cluster of Johan Kepler University in Linz (Austria). These clusters are running the Linux operating system. My research work is deal with modeling and investigations of dynamical properties of liquids.

A few months ago I studied Java and my future activity is oriented towards programming in Java environment.

1. I have experience in IT technologies, particularly, I deal with Unix and Linux systems.   I prepared all my papers in LaTeX.

Thus I think that my physics knowledge as well as my skills in IT field could be useful for your company.

From 1 of October till 20 of December 2007

and from 12 of April till 12 of June 2008   

I worked in the Institute for Theoretical Physics of Johan Kepler University.

On 4 of January    I defended my Ph. D. thesis “The influence of an external

magnetic field on the critical behaviour of the 3D Ising model” in theoretic physics area. For investigations I used Monte-Carlo simulations with the code on C.

From 2004 till 2006   I was a leader engineer of the ICMP

In the same time I worked as system administrator in the company “UkrPromTeleCom”. I administrated computers running the different operating systems, in particular, WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX.

From  2001 till 2004       I was a Ph. D student in ICMP.

I wrote a Delphi code allowing one to control connections of the local workstations to the internet from the Windows-server via management of firewall rules on the Unix-server.

December, 2001      I was employed by the company “Cenitech”. My duties were to frame desktops, to install operating systems and software and to test them.

January – September, 2001

      I worked as soft-developer and system-administrator in the night-club “Picasso”. In particular, I developed the database software for the club music collection with use of Delphi.

I developed the code which allowed one to input data in the database and to filter them through the SQL queries. Also I performed the digital transformations of video clips received via dish and their cutting (montage).

1996-2001      I was a student at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv,

Physics department.
