Application tester

Our client, the leading world-wide logistic company, is looking for Application Tester.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze specifications: Based on the Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) and the Change Control (CC) documents the application tester is analyzing the expected functionality
• Designing test cases
• Preparation for test execution
• Execution of the test
• Documentation and analysis of the results
• Exception handling: Defect management
• Definition of test cases for automated regression test
Requirements:
• Degree in computer science, logistics or economics
• At least 2 years of experience with warehouse management systems or other business applications, e.g. ERP
• Experience in application testing or strong willingness to build up knowledge quickly
• Profound knowledge about warehousing and distribution processes
• Knowledge about logistics and supply chain processes in general
• Experience in deployment of operational applications
• Project management skills
• Analytical way of working
• Logical thinking
• Target oriented
• “Getting things done” attitude
• Ability to navigate in matrix organizations
• Ability to teach others
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Interest in technology
• For test advisor: Advanced level certification as software tester, e.g. ISTQB
