It is a privately owned company having facilities in the United Kingdom France. We are working in the Aircraft industry for rotary and fixed wing aircraft manufacturers. The company actually designs Flight Data Recorders as well as Flight Data Replay Software
Knowledge, skills and abilities we are seeking

Highly motivated, high energy, and capable person used to working with minimal supervision while simultaneously engaging in a collaborative environment. Suggest creative solutions in line with business objectives.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio C, MFC and Microsoft DirectX 9

Your coding is highly rigorous and documented. You are aware of quality management concerns about the maintainability of software code.

High level in mathematics and specifically in 3D mathematics

Ability to collaborate with remote software developers

Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language
Experience

Solid and proven C 3D programming experience.
Academic Qualifications

University degree of Bachelors level or above in computer science, or other relevant discipline or equivalent working experience.
Job Description

Along with our main software, we have designed a flight simulator module that replays the aircraft flight data in 3D near realistic views. This software also comes with customizable cockpit instruments and panels. This software is used for investigation and pilot de-briefing purposes.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic 3D software engineer to participate in the improvement of existing modules and the development of new capabilities for this software.
Responsibilities Duties

You will be asked to maintain andor optimize parts of the existing code and create new algorithms to improve the capabilities and the quality of the software

We are expecting you to interface the software to some web products (Google Maps, Microsoft Maps )

Re-engineer some parts of the software to get a complete Windows 7 compatibility

Proposal for improving the quality of the software in terms of documentation and compliance to quality standards.

Work directly with our development team to achieve a complete interface of the 3D module to the main software.
