C++ game developer

iWin is seeking contractors in Ukraine or Russia with experience creating and maintaining downloadable C++ based games.
You will be doing design and implementation hands-on, and work hand-in-hand with Product Managers to prioritize and manage a fast paced social game on Facebook. You must be passionate and push for the best features, the best technology, and the best from your teammates.
You will work with a Russian game lead, either remotely or within our Kiev Ukraine office.

Job Responsibilities Include
• Create, maintain, and debug games in Python and C++ including: coding, integrating art and sound assets, fully testing code, and ongoing maintenance.
• Work closely with game designers on existing designs.
• Working closely with a lead developer and game producer.
• We expect roughly the following time split:
o Coding/Hands-On Development: 80%
o Technical Design/Specifications: 20%

Professional Skills and Personal Qualities
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in developing games or game frameworks
• Excellent development skills in C++
• Moderate knowledge of Python
• Experience in application development, GUI, memory management and threading
• Moderate written and verbal English skills (you will be working both in Russian and English)
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Must be organized, systematic, punctual, and goal-oriented
• Positive energy and willing to work in a small company environment

Appreciated but not required:
• Previous experience shipping a casual game
• Solid understanding of how to optimize file sizes and performance
• Strong working knowledge of Flash/ActionScript3
