Delphi Developers Required

The Opportunity
We are looking for two skilled, creative, passionate Delphi developers to join our existing Ukrainian-based development team.

Your role will be to assist in designing and developing new products for the company as well as assisting in supporting / maintaining the company’s existing products. We’re looking for someone who can take a leading role from concept to release, and who wants to personally have a huge impact on the products they work on.

Qualifications
• Advanced expertise in the Delphi development environment, including with Delphi libraries and features (DevExpress, FIBPlus, RichView, etc.), multi-threading / COM, SQL (Firebird), and reporting (ideally with FastReport).
• Between the two developers we hire, we are looking for strong expertise in database / SQL, UI, and multimedia (our next product will involve a lot of audio / video functionality). Both developers should also have strong ‘general programming’ skills.
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while coordinating with the rest of the team. This is essential – you must be a self-starter who can get things done on your own reliably and effectively, while also being able to support the overall team and coordinate closely with others.
• Excellent reading / writing skills in English. Spoken English would be an asset, but is not essential.
• A passion for transforming ideas into great products!

Things that would be nice, but aren’t required:

• Familiarity with Drupal
• Graphic design skills
• Experience developing web applications

This is a full-time, work-from-home, long-term contract position. You’ll need to have your own full Delphi development environment and a reliable Internet connection. We communicate and coordinate via email, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, and using cloud-based services.
