Engineer test automation team

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automated testing tools and frameworks
• Design and code automated testing scripts
• Create test plans from requirements and design documents
• Record test results
• Identify, reproduce, and report defects
• Maintain test plans
• Test defect fixes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience to include:
o Experience in scripting languages
o Data base experience
o Experience in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is a plus
• 2+ years of hands-on testing experience to include:
o Creation of automated test tools and frameworks
o Ability to develop and implement Test Plans and Test Cases
o A strong working knowledge of testing backend and client/server applications
o Excellent understanding of QA theory
o Experience with bug tracking systems
o Expert knowledge of PC’s and Operating Systems across multiple Windows environments including Windows 2000/2003 Server
o VMWare experience
• Excellent memory and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to clearly and concisely articulate problems and explain exactly how to reproduce them
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Interpersonal and organizational skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and overcome challenges
• Futures/ Commodities/Stock Market knowledge, trading experience very helpful.
• Excellent team work skills
