Field trialist (fruit)

Our client, an international company, a world leader in crop protection and seed production, is announcing an opening for Field Trialist ( fruit).

Main responsibilities:

ensuring thorough evaluation of new varieties in Cabbage, Tomato, Watermelon, Onion to maximize success of commercial introduction and contribute to the continuity of a competitive product assortment;
performing and managing sowing, planting and harvest;
evaluating plants (vegetables, fruits), harvests, classifies, test, trials and collect data according to requestor’s needs;
participating in sales force activities (organizing open days at most important growers’ trials);
providing reports about all trials and preparing good overviews about the hybrids to help define the most adequate positioning in different markets;
collaborating with State trials authorities during growing season to gather critical information by competitors.
Main requirements:

University Degree (agriculture or horticulture);
3+ years experience in agriculture;
excellent PC skills;
good English (written and spoken as well);
driving license and readiness to business trips;
good communicating, analytical and planning skills;
high motivation and team orientation, flexibility and willing to learn.
