Description

The role of the Plant Financial Analyst is responsible for cost analysis and forecast for his/her respective business units, and also ensure compliance to the local and USGAAP cost accounting rules.

1. providing leadership to PS in controlling cost/budgets and delivering cost savings in line with the regional targets
2. building capabilities and process for improving our cost analysis and forecasting processes.

The cost analyst will be working in an international/multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the forecasting cycle and business planning process of the plant
2. Lead the forecast and budget review process of the plant.
3. Lead the monthly cost update meeting for the plant.
4. Ensure that cost savings and initiatives are correctly reflected in our forecast.
5. Lead cost savings work in the plant, support the operations to deliver targets
6. Be the Point of Contact for the management in regional headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland for the area of ownership
7. Be the Point of Contact for the local management in Kiev headquarters and in the plant for the area of ownership
8. Support any business decision with proper cost analysis and provide direction to management
9. Stewardship (local and USGAAP compliance) owner of the respective area
10. Get necessary technical background on ERP system, SAP

Qualifications
Ukrainian citizenship
Leadership & Envisioning - this assignment will require and develop the art of delivering results though others. Energising business partners as well as developing and following up on action plans will be critical for success.
Collaboration & Communication - ability to work well in a diverse multifunctional team and across levels (form shop floor to director), as well as across cultures, having excellent oral/written communication skills.
Analysis and Problem Solving - the job will develop in depth understanding of supply chain cost drivers.
Operating with Discipline: ability to work in a structured way under tight schedules and delivering on time
English language is a must.
Prior background on Finance/Accounting/Economics is not required, but useful.
