Head of Internal Audit

Functional duties and responsibilities
Preparation of strategic audit landscape and annual audit plan tailored to the business strategy and risk profile of the bank
Establishing of modern auditing principles and procedures in line with the common audit approach in the VBI-Group
Development of audit programmes for different audit areas according VBI-standards
Quality assessment and quality assurance of the performance of the audit team
Preparation of reports for Board, Supervisory Board, Audit Committee and VBI / VB AG
Contact person for National Bank and External Auditors on audit issues
Requirements
3+ years Experience in Banking Industry and/or professional practice in internal/external audit
Graduate of a business school
Experience in analysing business processes to identify control weaknesses and business risks
Knowledge of the Ukraine Banking industry
Knowledge of modern banking systems
Hands-on experience with computer software (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Ukraine
Proven leadership skills and appropriate assertiveness
