Head of Legal M&A

Our Client is the Leading Multinational Non-FMCG company, to serve its clients better, and drive the business to the next level, our client is currently looking to hire a Head of Legal M&A, Kiev, Ukraine

Responsibilities:
-Be able to make independent decisions without direct supervision
-Be able to represent the company at a strategic level in terms of advising clients
-Be able to communicate in English with a range of international clients
-Be able to advise on the most appropriate legal structures applicable to M&A projects
-Advise and assist in all legal and administrative matters related to M&A process
-Closely monitor if company projects in Ukraine are properly executed according to vision and management strategy
-Ensure general compliance with all applicable legislation
-Work with senior management and appointed consultancies in all legal aspects of operations, including contract preparation and administration, general legal compliance and acting as a support and resource person for all legal aspects of operations
-Assure that all legal duties concerning permitting and community relations are established and met
-Keep, update and archive all legal documentation related to the company’s activity
-Coordinate external legal support, related to court cases or other tasks involving legal issues
-Take an active role in dealing with local municipalities with respect to protocol administration and any other issues

Requirements:
-Age 28 – 48 years old
-Fluent English
-Relevant university degree in Law
-Very strong communication skills
-Must have a structured business mind-set and strong negotiation skills
-Very good theoretical and practical knowledge of the law field, with focus on commercial law
-Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the legal field, with focus on M&A field
-Experience with an international law firm is highly appreciated
-Entrepreneurial attitude, smart appearance
-Business oriented, flexible, willing to fully commit
-Dynamic, positive attitude
