Our client, international equipment and manufacturing company serving the international industry is currently looking for a successful candidate to fill the position of Deputy Director of Operations who will be responsible for planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes..

Subordination: Direct report to Director – Process control and Production, GM.

Responsibilities:
Directs and oversees an organization's production processes.
Responsible for planning and directing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
Coordinates and controls the day to day production activities of the plant and assumes full responsibility for a production.
Develops and recommends short and long range production objectives consistent with corporate guidelines.
Coordinates, prioritizes and drives activities, operations and improvement with appropriate corporate departments.
Maintains appropriate communications within and between various functional areas within the organization.
Reviews organizational and manpower plan to ensure they are consistent and adequate for attainment of objectives.
Provides coaching and counseling to all direct reports and keeps employees informed of policies, procedures and operational changes.
Monitors production activity and takes actions to ensure maximum profitability of plant operations.
Tracks competencies of subordinates and provides leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
Coordinates, sets up and implements standard operating procedure for all production operations.
Makes sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
Establish production priorities and allocate the resources.

Education:
Complete higher education (master or specialist degree).
Professional job experience as Production Manager should not be less than 5 years.
Fluent English and Russian is a must.
Competencies and skills:
Know laws, regulations, directions, orders, legislative and normative legal acts.
Have strong leadership skills.
Be able to manage a diverse group of people and motivate staff to work together as one team.
Understanding of basic financial analysis.
Be proficient with computer (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
