Join the a-team
We are in the middle of an exciting development project. Against the backdrop of domain-specific languages, the project is based on Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform) using the Java platform as the foundation. This comprehensive project is developed in collaboration with our Development Department in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will join a highly professional work environment, giving you the opportunity to work with some of the best software developers in Ukraine and in Denmark. We use different programming languages and paradigms, including object-oriented and functional ones. You take pride in high quality, including well-defined modules and interfaces, as our software has a long lifetime and should allow for further development and maintenance.
Outstanding in theory and in practice
You have a university degree with focus on software development, as a minimum at MSc level and preferably in computer science or software engineering. You have software development experience and profound knowledge of the Java platform. Its absolutely central that you know your theory, and that you are able to generalize and think in the abstract while still mastering practical software craftsmanship at an excellent level. You have a strong drive and are keen to take ownership. You enjoy all the technical aspects while still having a good eye for producing deliverables for the customers. Finally, you are a flexible team player who communicates effortlessly in English with colleagues at all levels.
Key skills
Technical:
- Mastering complex software, being able to generalize and find generic, simple and maintainable solutions.
- Mastering all levels of detail of complex software ranging from bit fiddling to module architecture.
- Deep experience in object oriented programming and an understanding of the functional programming paradigm.
- Extensive knowledge of the Java platform and the Java language.
Personal:
- It is definitely an advantage if you have worked in an off-shoring company before.
- Very good English skills in speaking and writing as you will be communicating extensively with your Danish colleagues on a daily basis.
- Ability to express and present complex technical ideas, both in spoken and written form.
