Java Developer

LUXOFT Company (IBS group of companies) opens
position in department, which projects are being developed for the only customer


Responsibilities:

Work on a team of 3-4 software engineers on projects
Assist in the technical design effort of various projects for Customer's e-commerce application that meets scalability and performance requirements
Participate in the implementation (e.g., coding) effort
Ensure proper technical design and documentation
Ensure adherence to engineering processes such as code reviews, source control, unit testing, use case analysis, defect management


Requirements:

Experience with object-oriented framework and design
J2EE APIs, particularly Java-based application servers (e.g. BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere) with EJBs, servlets, and JSP
Working experience with any modern RDBMS
Good verbal and written skills, with proven ability to communicate ideas and to design and document projects in a clear, concise way
Experience with ORM (Toplink, Hibernate, JDO).
Ability to write clean, coherent code, and to follow established coding style guidelines.


As a plus:

Experience building scalable enterprise system
Experience with the following technologies is a big plus: Travel GDS's (e.g.
Worldspan, SABRE, etc.), UML and related tools, Struts (including Tiles),
XML/XSL, Perl or some other scripting language, hand-coded HTML.
