Akvelon Ukraine is seeking a Java/Flex Developer to join our team based in Kharkiv.
Qualifications:
• Software engineer with minimum of 1 year of experience in Web-based GUI development for N-tier Java applications
• Adobe Flex with Java server-side components (e.g. Adobe BlazeDS technology)
• Understanding of common architecture of web applications on Java platform
• Understanding of UI usability principles
• Knowledge of HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
• Knowledge of XML and related technologies (XSD, XSLT, XPath)
• Knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss or other Java application servers
• High level of self-organization, creativity, ethics and personal qualities
• Good written and spoken English
Responsibilities:
• Rich Internet applications development
• Rapid prototyping and evaluate open source frameworks
• Make technology recommendations
Desired to have:
• Ability to produce high quality results in the rapid and efficient manner
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Result-oriented person
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work successfully either individually or as part of a team
