On behalf of our client, British company, Marmalade, we are expanding current team and looking for a JavaScript developer.

Key Responsibilities 

● Understanding and applying common JavaScript development methodologies to the design of bespoke API’s within the Marmalade product. 
● Identifying and evaluating third party libraries and products to enhance and advance the capabilities of internal products. 
● Working with product managers to identify potentially advantageous improvements to the product line. 
● Working with architecture team to advise on the requirements and design of web based product components. 
● Implementing applications on top of the internal tools and API’s, as a means to prove and test the product capabilities. 

Essential Skills 

● Highly experienced JavaScript developer. 
● High level of experience with HTML(4/5), CSS(2/3), AJAX and other web development technologies. 
● Experience of key third party libraries such as JQuery, Prototype, Dojo etc. 
● Knowledge of development and testing of web based applications across the entire development cycle. 
● Experience developing robust and maintainable code. 
● Experience developing and deploying web based applications to mobile devices. 
● Attention to detail. 
● Experience of test driven development methodologies. 
Desirable Assets 
● Experience with agile working methodologies, specifically the scrum model. 
● Software design experience.
