Our client is leading company which provides management of message delivery solutions (including a mass and business mailing). They are looking for professional Linux System Architect with production experience to work closely with development teams.
Short Description: It should be a person, who is mainly a system administrator, but who has worked with programmers and understands the development lifecycle. Perfect to have hands-on experience with setting up and managing development tools and resources, such as version control, development servers, etc.
Main Requirements:
3+ years of extensive experience as Linux System Administrator in production environment;
Solid experience with production platforms based on Redhat and Debian;
Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Issue Tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.),Version Control (git, svn, etc.);
Experience with shell scripting and at least one script language Perl/ Python/ Ruby/ etc.
Good knowledge of both RPMs and Debs packaging;
Good understanding of development lifecycle and serious production environment needs;
Advanced English level (verbal and written skills).
Main responsibilities:
Entire development server management, and take part in making decisions on software deployment organization;
Being responsible for the packaging, and system setting for development teams: setting up staging and test environments, continuous integration, deployment scripts, etc.
