Betsson is looking for .Net developer based in Kiev.

What do we offer?

The role as Developer means that you will work in a team of more than 50 people in Kiev.

In our development center in Kiev we are developing Payment, Account, Bonus and Loyalty solutions. We are a very Agile team that use Scrum and Kanban to assist in development. Our development is very test centric and focuses on building features from the top down (rather than bottom-up). As a Betsson Developer you will work in all phases of development from requirements gathering, through architecture and design, to writing test cases and code, assisting our QA’s and ultimately also supporting the features you create.

Our teams are cross-functional and all team members focus on not only doing their own tasks, but also work together with and assist other team members. Peer code review is a very good source of education and skill increase. The payment system is certified according to PCI-Dss standards with a very high security awareness. The account and bonus subsystems are designed to be able to handle thousands of transactions per second and be able to scale to any number of users and transactions.

The role requires constant attention to detail and the ability to work to the high standards expected. The team you will be working with is committed to fulfilling our clients requirements in time and receives the management attention required when issues arise. The role offers the chance to be involved in a fast paced working environment and be part of a great team. You will also have the ability to assist Betsson in moving forward through your creative thinking and entrepreneurial ideas.

Required skills

.Net and C# expertise is of course a required skill. In addition we rely on WCF, SQL. We use fairly complex architectures (both from a development and systems point of view) so experience with service oriented environments (multiple services, multiple machines) is a definite plus.

We expect you to have some design and architecture experience.

We use Scrum and Kanban so experience with Agile development is good but not absolutely required. We will teach you what you need.

Since our environment is international and the work requires daily contact with other countries we expect that you are fluent in both written and spoken English.

Experience with online payments and/or transaction intensive systems is an advantage.
