Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Key Responsibilities:
• Develops PL/SQL APIs.
• Analysis and design of new database systems ensuring adherence to technical standards, data standards and integration with other data sources.
• Contributes to the setting of standards for database objects (e.g. naming conventions) and ensures conformance to these standards.
• Provides expert support for the Java and PHP development team, including support for existing testing teams, maintaining existing data integrity.
Essential Skills Required:
• Excellent understanding of Oracle 10g internals;
• Oracle Real Application Cluster;
• Oracle Partitioning;
• Replication/Streams;
• Strong SQL knowledge;
• Replication API development experience;
• PL/SQL skills and proven experience;
• UNIX shell scripting;
• Source code control (CVS, SVN);
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with warehousing;
• Experience in the banking/financial sector;
Education/Certification and Experience required:
• At least 5 years Oracle PL/SQL development experience;
• Computer Science or similar degree;
• Oracle Database 10g: OCA/OCP/OCE ;
