Magento, Inc., an eBay Company (X.Commerce) is looking for PHP Developer's Trainer to work on the full-time basis in our office

Required skills:
• Master degree in technical Science or similar
• Experience in creating technical documentation and organizing trainings
• Solid knowledge of PHP 5, SQL (preferably MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL)
• Good knowledge of (X)HTML and XML
• Solid knowledge of OOP, design patterns, MVC concept and web application architecture
• Good knowledge of e-commerce processes
• Solid knowledge of documentation writing process
• English high level
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Basic presentational skills
• Orientation for result, responsibility, discipline, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to plan training schedules and trip agenda

As a plus:
• Experience in education process
• Background in developing for Magento platform
• Experience in the database optimization

Main responsibilities:
• Providing training materials and presentations on the product architecture and developers’ best practices
• Planning training schedules and creating training materials
• Holding training classes on a regular basis
• Effectively organizing presentations for the training course
• Writing training and technical documentation for internal use

Required skills:

• 4+ years Linux administration experience
• Deep knowledge of CentOS/Redhat Linux (Debian/Ubuntu or FreeBSD are a plus)
• Apache (build, install, configure, performance optimization, SSL-management)
• MySQL (build, install, configure, performance optimization, replication setup)
• PHP 4/5 (system administration experience - build, install, add extensions, basic PHP language knowledge)
• Web-hosting servers administration and maintenance experience (virtual hosts, control panels, etc)
• High-availability and high-performance clusters experience (databases, web-servers)
• MTA administration experience
• Subversion repositories administration experience (mod_dav_svn, mod_authz_svn, repositories maintenance, access control)
• Good written English

Main responsibilities:

• High-load web-sites configuration and performance optimization
• High-availability and high-load systems configuration, databases replication setup
• Troubleshooting, performance testing and audit
