We’re looking for a proactive, systematic and process-oriented Project Manager to ‘own’ end-to-end cross-functional workflow from the time the contract is signed and the engagement commences till successful delivery. This is a highly visible role which spans multiple global touch-points including customers, delivery team (engineering, QA, UI, network operations), HR and recruiting. You will be the one who manages complex moving parts of the development project in the most optimal way, provides process transparency & accountability, and on-time, on-budget, on-spec delivery.

You have strong process and project management orientation and experience,upper- intermediate or advanced English skills (both written and verbal), and thrive on managing customer expectations & holding all process participants accountable for their deadlines and deliverables. You possess superb prioritization & customer service skills. You will assemble complex, deadline-driven “delivery packages” that consist of inputs from several development sub-team, and constantly fine-tune and automate the workflow to ensure process scalability. You understand how software consultancies operate, and how Web 2.0 and Mobile software projects are structured and delivered.

Skills and Qualifications
• Project Management experience, ideally Web 2.0 and Mobile projects
• Understanding of Web 2.0 and Mobile technologies & agile development methodologies
• Strong communication, prioritization, organization, time management, and delegation skills
• Experience with scheduling and workflow systems and processes
• Ability to guide others through complexity, ambiguity, and uncertainty
• Experience with CRM systems
• International expertise and perspective
• Team player
• Upper-intermediate or advanced written and spoken English skills
• Technical degree a plus

Key Responsibilities
• Perform project management Web 2.0 and Mobile projects - from contract is signed till successful delivery
• Perform account/program management – management of several related projects for the same customer

As part of above:
• Set correct customer and participant expectations, hold internal contributors accountable for their deadlines & deliverables; pro-actively follow up with process participants
• Ensure quality of the process and deliverables
• Remove process bottlenecks. Escalate and resolve issues.
• Propose & implement regular improvements to the Cogniance development process. As part of this, perform post-mortem analysis, lessons learned sessions, and recommend deliverables
• Document the process to facilitate quick learning curve for the new hires
