Reporting / business intelligence specialist

Our client, the leading world-wide logistic company, is looking for Reporting / Business intelligence specialist.


Responsibilities:


Developments of standard reports (based on requirements of the (corporate) operational management, as evolution of local best practice reports, based on own requirements analysis)
Management support by ad hoc analysis: analyzing certain situations ad hoc with business intelligence tools in order to provide management decision support
Reporting implementation support: providing support to the implementation teams for more complex requirements. This can include on site workshops including requirement analysis, internal report design workshops or remote assistance

Requirements:


Degree in computer science, logistics or economics
At least 2 years of experience with Business Objects Web Intelligence or similar tools.
Experience in report design
Strong database knowledge, e.g. SQL, entity relationship models
Knowledge about logistics and supply chain processes in general
Experience in application deployment
Optional deeper knowledge about warehousing operational processes
Good communication skills
Analytical way of working
