Requirements engineer/analyst

ELEKS announces an opening for the position of Requirements Engineer/Analyst at Lviv office.

Mandatory requirements:
• 5 or more years of experience working in the software development industry or another technical industry (no software development experience is required)
• Familiar with software management concepts and the way enterprise software products are positioned and developed
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Energetic, positive, with the ability to bring a “can do” attitude to challenges
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with peers and managers in distributed teams whose members are separated by geography, time zones, and cultures.

Main Responsibilities:
• Understanding and gathering customer requirements / requests
• Defining functional and quality requirements around customer requests
• Spotting vague, ambiguous, confusing, or conflicting requirements and areas that need more detail.
• Writing detailed functionality specifications (User Stories), including test cases for use by development and test teams
• Coordination communication among project managers, software developers and software testers.
• Participating in daily Scrums as part of our Agile development methodology.
