On behalf of NeuString we are currently looking for a Senior C++ Developer.

NeuString is a privately held billing software and consulting company dedicated to delivering Predictive Analytics Software and Consulting Services to Mobile Network Operators. DESCRIPTIVE SUMMARY:

This opening is a new permanent position within the B2B telecom industry. The successful candidate will need to have in depth development skills within C++ and C, python and Oracle database technologies while also having heavy knowledge and experience in Linux and general IP networks.

This position will be responsible for developing our backend software that is used to handle CDR (Call Detail Records) from GSM mobile operator’s network. The candidate will be a part of a development team which consists of both a front end (client) and backend part. The candidate will report directly to a team leader in Dnepropetrovsk.

Responsibilities

• Develop Backend solution for a company product
• Work in an established development team
• Being involved in system design and architecture of the future development of new components and extension to the already existing software modules
• Document code that is developed

Education

Bachelors degree (Master preferred) in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field – or equivalent education/experience.

Qualifications

• Design and code medium-to-large sized projects including debugging/unit testing and bug fixing, following source code control procedures.
• Development focus will be on developing enterprise application software using C++/python in an Oracle based backend.
• 2-3 years working with Linux/Unix
• 5 years of C++ development
• Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Oracle SQL is a plus
• Contribute to team meetings and management reporting requirements.
• Provide individual tasks, effort, estimates and dependencies for Project Manager to build into project plan, based on software architecture and technical specifications.
• 5 years of professional experience in an development department
• Demonstrated experience with UNIX operating systems. Linux is preferred
• Experience with VMware (Server/ESX Server) is a plus
• Experience with Oracle is preferable.
• Knowledge of networking and security technologies and products
• Strong written and verbal English skills are mandatory
• Able to work both independently and within a project team
