Senior java developer (barclays capital)
Main Functions:
Developing and enhancing reconciliations on the firm’s strategic reconciliation platforms, Sungard’s Intellimatch and RecLite (an inhouse developed rec engine).
Although this role does not regard investment banking experience as essential, it is expected that the good candidate will be interested in developing his/her career within investment banking.
Main Duties:
• Analyse, design and development of new and enhanced reconciliations based on user requirements
• Unit, system and user testing
• Ensure use of best practices and standards
Main requirements:
• Java development experience
• Relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) – proficient level
