Project Description:
A project running in EPAM Systems Offshore Development Centre (ODC) of one of global financial services company is an operational solution that provides users with capability to manage a complete range of client interactions. It supports internal workflows and tracks issues through client interaction, from inception to resolution. The project successfully had several releases, delivering plenty of new functionality to the business users.
Better tools for better development:
JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, FishEye + Cruciable and Nexus (as a centralized Maven repository) – integrated into one Continuous Integration (CI) environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Serve as an Architect /Developer to design and contribute toward to the framework and solution
- Work with PM to define the scope of work, further develop the scenarios into spec /tech-spec, and analyse the capabilities to design a compelling solution
- Identify and effectively communicate the issues /risks to ensure they are addressed
- Identify and create all mandated documentations, and facilitate reviews of documents and obtain all necessary signoffs
- Independently develop the codes against the milestone and manage the source code and versioning with minimum supervision
- Support testing, attend light-weighted bug triage, fix bugs and/or propose a workaround
- Work with other developers to deliver the complete solution
