Senior Java/Oracle Developer – London

Responsibilities:
• Strong Java skills (deep knowledge of core Java)
• Strong Java web & JEE skills (JDBC/JMS)
• Strong Spring framework skills (IoC container, WebFlow and MVC, data access with JDBC & Hibernate)
• Automated testing (unit testing, integration testing, use of stub/mock object frameworks, Spring integration testing support)
• Knowledge of object oriented design and common GoF design patterns
• Experience with ORM (e.g. Hibernate)
• Knowledge of build technologies (Ant, Ivy, Maven)
• Database Development (preferably with Oracle 9i/10g)
• Knowledge of Subversion
• Ability to work with Unix/Linux

Desirable Experience:
• Knowledge of Scrum or other Agile methodologies
• Continuous Integration and CI build servers (e.g. Team City)
• Domain-driven design
• Oracle performance tuning
• Tomcat deployment and configuration
• Experience of the trade lifecycle and the trade booking lifecycle
