Senior mechanical engineer for contract abroad

Skelia invites Senior Mechanical Engineer (ref: ME-IN-BPO-01) for contract abroad.

You will be relocated in Belgium and will work in the company that has a leading position in the world for the development and manufacturing of process equipment for the pharmaceutical industry

YOUR PROFILE

- You have a master education in (electro) mechanics or equal by experience

- You have a profound experience as a mechanical designer

- You have a good knowledge of (stainless) steel manufacturing techniques

- Experience in managing complex and fine machine building/construction

- Working background in pharmaceurical, food chemical industry is a plus

- You have high level of English

- You are a team player within the project team

- You are an autonomous and accurate team leader

- Experience in conceptual design and mechanical calculations are advantages

- You have an experience in Pro-Engineer and Intralink (or Windchill), AUTOCAD experience is an advantage

- You have knowledge of MS Office applications and Lotus Notes.

- You are prepared to travel occasionally

YOUR MISSION

You will join a dynamic, technologically advanced and export-oriented Belgium company where complex process machines are built for the production of pharmaceutical granules. Depending on specific customer needs, these process machines are custom designed, manufactured and installed.

The role contains:

- Manage different mechanical modules of a complex project

- Manage team of mechanical designers

- Discuss with suppliers best solutions

- Represent mechanical design in a project team and to customer

- Report work status to project manager

- Follow up mechanic construction and discuss issues with mechanics
