Senior ms olap developer

Responsibilities:
Creating MDX and performance optimization by MS OLAP
Develop software, both by extending existing systems and developing new ones from scratch.
Role requires a high degree of interaction with the global team so the candidate should be able to fluently and clearly express their ideas and/or concerns.
Be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle (from analysis and specification through to testing and deployment) but with the emphasis on systems development
Contribute to projects being on schedule and meeting client needs

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong OLAP development skills
OLAP performance optimizing skills
ETL process (Data warehouse organization)

MS SQL Sever

SQL Server 2005/ 2008 design and development (3+ years)
Experience using SQL Server 2005/ 2008 Analysis Services / Reporting Services
Experience writing MDX (Multidimensional expressions) - MDX expressions and query writing
Experience in design and building of OLAP cubes for data analysis and modelling
Experience of working in a team environment Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Good organisational skills
Strong communication skills
2-5 years industry experience in data warehousing and business intelligence
The following skills/ qualifications would considered to be an advantage
Experience in using ETL tools
Experience using C# and ASP.NET
Oracle DB programming
Experience of analysis/ design
Knowledge and experience of web UI technologies (HTML , CSS , JavaScript , XML)
Experience of OOA/ OOD
Relevant Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications
Knowledge of TSP/ PSP or Agile methodologies
Experience working on enterprise scale software development projects
