Senior qa automation
Responsibilities:
• Participation in the development process of Data Warehousing solution for one of the world leading banks to ensure the quality of development
• Produce test plans and test cases from functional specifications and change requests
• Develop and execute test cases and scripts (functional and regression testing)
• Automate unit and functional tests with QTP
• Raise, track and manage defects
• Provide reporting on test results for each deliverable to allow quantitative tracking
• Be a QA point of contact for the project
Requirements:
• Basic Skills / Knowledge:
• Thorough knowledge of software development and defect management cycles
• Experience in testing DWH/reporting solutions is a great plus
• Good understanding and experience in defect tracking tools
• Good experience in building and executing good test suites
• Scripting and automation skills (SQL, Basic, QTP)
• PowerShell knowledge is a plus
• OLAP knowledge is a plus
• Good understanding of risk, ability to assess risks, and find ways to reduce risks
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel abroad is a must
