Senior QA, Load Testing and Automation

• Develop and execute automated tests, and take the lead in implementing automation strategy
• Design and conduct performance, stress and load tests
• Work closely with the rest of the development team to test features from implementation to release
• Identify and report defects, follow-up on them through resolution
• Create test plans, write and execute test cases based on product requirement documents
• Pro-actively recommend process, tool and hardware improvements
• Document and instruct QA team members on how to use and maintain automated tests you create
• Communicate regularly with the team, and provide daily reports on project status


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of programming experience
• 3+ years experience with writing automated tests for web-based applications
• 2+ years experience with automated testing, with proven experience writing and maintaining test automation scripts
• Strong experience with performance testing tools
• Strong understanding of web application development, defect lifecycles and test automation development
• Experience with backend testing with good SQL knowledge
• Strong written English language skills (This position will require reading technical documents, writing test cases, and reporting bugs clearly.)
• Demonstrates analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and handle multiple projects in a very fast-paced environment
