Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
Our client is leading company which provides management solutions of message delivery (including a mass and business mailing). They are looking for professional Ruby on Rails programmer.
Main Requirements:
• 2+ years with Ruby and Ruby on Rails on a *nix platform;
• 2+ years of operational experience with Linux.
• Practical experience of creating web-based APIs.
• Basic knowledge of design patterns and how they apply to Ruby
• Experience with XHTML/CSS/JavaScript and MVC
• Advanced English level (verbal and written skills).
Good to know:
• Experience with Agile development practices;
• Understanding of data storage and modeling
• Commitment to open source community.
Main responsibilities:
• Design of customized modern infrastructure using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Linux, RSpec, and a slew of other common open source supporting technologies;
• Test-driven and behavior-driven development;
• Collaborate with the team in designing of coding practices, deployment process, and development roadmap.
