Senior signaling and routing expert (job placement in belgium)

We are currently seeking talented professionals to work as Senior Signaling and Routing Expert (Code: SSRE 110) for full time on the customer’s site in Belgium.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following minimal required competencies / skills:

• At least 10 years in international telecom environment
• Very strong technical knowledge in following signaling protocols: ISUP, SS7, MAP, USSD, SIP, SIGTRAN, CAMEL (experience with Diameter is an asset)
• Very strong technical knowledge and experience with core networks and international roaming: GSM, GPRS, UMTS, (experience with LTE is an asset)
• Good project management and analytical skills
• Very professional team player, able to drive a transversal project team
• Good social and communication skills
• Very dynamic and motivated
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent English language skills – both written and verbal.
• MS/BS degree in Computer Sciences, IT or equivalent.

Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):
• Manage network capacity activities for all implemented mobile data solutions
• Support product management teams during the different phases of new product development process
• Follow and evaluate technology evolution in order to identify new applications in the international network
• Implements the solution in project management mode, respecting agreed milestones and managing different constraints (budget, technical, operational)
• Consult production and sales specialization in development of customer specific solutions.
• Perform the network capacity planning in order to cover the needs of BICS for the international wholesale services
• Present and promote BICS's interests in the international network and international working groups to represent BICS on standardization and new technology design
• Develop the knowledge in international telecom and actively transfer the know-how to other collaborators
• Design solutions, select the appropriate vendor, take care of the ordering, implement and document the solutions and transfers the solutions to operational teams
