We are currently looking for Senior User Experience Designer.
Responsibilities
• Responsible to successfully create visually stunning web and mobile application experiences as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ability to lead UX projects, collaborate with world-class experts in UX
• Facilitate dialog around end-user requirements and business requirements
• Guiding clients through key UX engagements
• Performing user research, document user mental models and personas
• Developing interaction models and conceptual frameworks of user experience
• Collaborating on user experience planning with a Lead User Experience Designer
• Performing user testing sessions and analyzing feedback
• Working closely with Project Management, Engineering and QA
• Provide training to other team members and mentoring to junior team members
• Researching UX design and technology trends
Compulsory skills (must have):
• Extensive UX portfolio is a must (10 world-class web apps and 10 world-class mobile apps, UI and UX awards, mobile apps in TOP 100 apps in online stores)
• Strong skills in conceptualizing ideas, creating IA, paper prototypes, clickable prototypes
• Highly-developed visual stylistics
• Strong skills in creation Information Architecture for web and applications
• Passion for pixel-perfect interface design, ability to create project from scratch to polished graphics deliverables
• Perfect knowledge of usability and Web 2.0 standards
• Excellence in fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principals
• Perfect knowledge of iOS and Android interface guidelines and interface principles of other major mobile platforms
• UX Heuristic analysis of web and mobile applications
• Excellence in creating pixel perfect mockups using Adobe CS tools
General skills:
* Strong understanding of common software development practices
* Flexibility, open-mindedness, ability and desire to learn

* A deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems
* Team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Excellent spoken and written English

Experience in the following areas will be advantageous but not necessary:
* Presentation creating using Microsoft Power Point
* Experience with Adobe InDesign
* Familiarity with Adobe Fireworks, Flash,
* Familiarity with Mac OS X, Apple Xcode/Interface Builder
* Paper prototyping
* Agile development methodologies (XP etc.)
* Experience and/or working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web 2.0 Standards

•Cogniance Design Team provides a wide variety of UI and Art services including user interface usability studies, web-design, e-commerce and online marketing tools design, Windows, Mac and mobile application interfaces, corporate identity style development, layout motion design, icon graphics and print production. The regular design cycle includes the following stages each followed by a review cycle - draft UI, final UI, draft Art, and final Art. By reviewing and constantly improving the usability of our deliverables and analyzing their position relative to current best practices we ensure that Cogniance Design Team imparts a global design aesthetic.
•Cogniance Operations Team facilitates on-going support and running cutomers' systems in their production environments.
