Site technical director (dnepropetrovsk)

Magento, Inc., an eBay Company (X.Commerce) is looking for Site Technical Director to work on the full-time basis in our office

Required skills:
• 5+ years’ experience at the same or similar position in international IT company
• Organizational skills and ability to manage the teams efficiently
• Ability to manage priorities and to work under pressure
• Good spoken and written English
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills

Main responsibilities:
• Create career path for PMs/technical leadership in given location. Set up goals, track performance. Mentor and coach new PMs/technical leaders. Lead site technical management forum
• Act as an escalation point over Technical leadership at site for stakeholder satisfaction issues, and staff issues – Escalation point over technical leadership at site for all technical related issues
• Forecast new skills required to be developed to keep site competitive within given location and work with competency group leaders on implementation
• Work with HR on morale issues, retention strategies, definition of location salary ranges, compensation and benefit schemas, recognition and award programs
• Work with Recruiting to forecast site potential for existing and new competencies, drive technical headcount growth, assign technical interviewers, and technical hiring managers for vacancies
• Work with Director of Technology-Ukraine to agree on new projects suggested for given location
• Meet specific targets for attrition, hiring, utilization, resource management parameters
• Recommend technical direction and innovation to stakeholders
• Recommend technical vitality programs (trainings, courses) for project staff.
