Do you tweet and use Facebook every day? Do you take pride in customer service excellence? Do you understand social media and why feeds are important? We seek a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for blogging, microblogging and community participation leadership.
ComboApp Marketing & PR Agency created a first-of-its-kind service to provide strategic, customized mobile and web-based app marketing plans designed specifically for mobile and web-based app developers.
The successful candidate will join our internal marketing team working with all areas, including design, PR/writing, multimedia and strategy development. Our Community Manager/Blogger will oversee and contribute recurrent content to holistically support our customers and our objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or associates degree in advertising, marketing, web development, or communications
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to crank editorial and technical writing output without brooding
• Work experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field
• Ability to blogging and use of Facebook and understands the power of social media marketing
• Ability to map out a social media marketing strategy and then drive that strategy
proven by testing and metrics
• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
• Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side
• Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content
• Understanding of social media universe including YouTube, StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, forums,
Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etс.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a
project or in a team environment
Responsibilities:
• Create the social media strategy
• Create budgets for social media activities
• Plan social media campaigns
• Direct work with clients
• Manage social media campaigns and day to day activities
• Manage presence in social networking sites
• Community outreach
• Manage a blogger outreach program
• Post and comment on relevant blogs
• Seed content into social networks
• Write editorial content
• Engage in conversations and answer questions
• Develop benchmark metrics to measure the results of social media programs
• Analyze and evaluate social media campaigns and strategies
• Report on effectiveness of campaigns
• Monitor trends in social media
• Monitor the activities of main competitors in social media
• Monitor social space for brand and related topics and conversations
• Work with other marketing branches to integrate different activities
• Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar and posting schedule
• Understand how the social media impacts search traffic
