Software Engineer - development of C++ and C# based CAD applications

COMPANY INTRODUCTION: Aquasoft, a Ukraine based software development company, provides outsourced software services to various organizations around the World. The founding members have been helping clients with software development tasks since 1991DESCRIPTION: This position is for a software engineer who will join Aquasoft CAD solutions development group within the R&D division. The individual will assist with enhancing C++ based software products, as well as C++ and C# based software tools for Aquasoft CAD solution clients. A strong understanding of Object Oriented design and methodology as well as effective programming/debugging skills is essential. The individual will be a part of a highly qualified and successful goal oriented teamMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2+ years software engineering experience preferably within CAD or other engineering software applicationsEDUCATION: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering disciplineREQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate must possess good working knowledge of C++, MFC and COM concepts. A working knowledge of C#, VB, OLE, ActiveX and the .NET Framework is a plus. The individual must be able to clearly communicate with team members as well as clients, the later would require at least an intermediate level of English reading and writing skills. Individuals with an engineering or CAD experience, as well as those with advanced English language skills will be given preferential consideration. The individual must have knowledge of application or computer system development which is suitably transferable to CAD application development.
