Software Engineer - development of the Java based Web applications

DESCRIPTION: This position is for a software engineer who will join Aquasoft Internet solutions development group within the R&D division. The individual will assist with creation and enhancing of the Java based software products for Aquasoft Internet solution clients. A strong understanding of the WEB applications architecture, Object Oriented design and methodology as well as effective programming/debugging skills is essential. The individual will be a part of a highly qualified and successful goal oriented team

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2+ years software engineering experience developing Internet based or other types of distributed applications

EDUCATION: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering discipline

REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate must possess good working knowledge of Java concepts. A working knowledge of J2EE and popular Java web frameworks is a plus. The individual must be able to clearly communicate with team members as well as clients, the later would require at least an intermediate level of English reading and writing skills. Individuals with advanced English language skills will be given preferential consideration. Applicants must have knowledge of application or computer system development for distributed environment including Internet based applications, must possess a keen understanding of programming concepts and demonstrate a willingness to be a part of a software team working towards aggressive milestones
