Software testing engineer

Intellias, a dynamic and progressive IT company with offices in Switzerland and Ukraine, is looking for QA professionals to become a part of its winning team. Currently, we have an outstanding position opportunity for Software Testing Engineer to work on a new challenging project.
Requirements:

- Understanding the testing process and software life-cycle stages, good knowledge of software testing methodologies;

- Good knowledge of QA process;

- Knowledge of one of bug-tracking systems (TestTrack Pro, JIRA) would be an advantage;

- Skills in writing test documentation (test cases);

- More than one year of experience in testing;

- English: intermediate, communication skill;
- Analytical skills, attention to details.
Preferred skills:

- Knowledge of OOP, Web concepts;

- Skills in working with database servers, SQL scripts;

- Knowledge and basic skills in setting OS Windows XP, MacOS;

- Higher Education: computer science, applied mathematics or equivalent.
Responsibilities:

- Review and understand system requirement on business and technical levels;

- Analyze system implementation and compliance to above mentioned requirements;

- Write and maintain detailed system and customer test descriptions documents using known testing techniques;

- Non-standard situations modeling in, setting environments for software testing;
- Communication with the programmers to detect the reasons of defects;
- Reporting on found defects;
- Participation in program solutions analysis and design according to the customer requirements.
