Technical artist

Crytek Ukraine is pleased to announce an opening for a Technical Artist. We are looking for talented, ambitious people who meet the following requirements:
Requirements:
• Self driving, responsible person
• Passion to Computer games, pipelines, scripting
• Have at least one year of relevant experience in game development industry
• Have a strong knowledge of Discreet 3dsmax, version control packages
• Must be able to adapt to new technologies
• Able to troubleshoot and develop character rigs
• Able to read technical documentation on English
• Knowledge of rig and complex character skinning
• Knowledge of XML based assets setup for engine
• Strong passion for making the highest quality state of the art games
Responsibilities:
• Works with artists and animators to bridge the ‘gap’ between R&D and Art/Animation
• Creating/improving different pipelines for Character ART/Weapons/Environment assets production
• Full Perforce brunch support, including all brunch files support and integration, brunch cleanup
• Troubleshoot asset-related technical issues
• Write technical documentation using Confluence
• Assets checking in term of correct technical setup
• quick solve art related technical issues
• Actively participate in team working on project by making recommendations on how to improve product quality as well as group productivity
• Provides guidance and assistance where required
• Contributes innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development
• Coordinate with other studio groups to achieve project objectives
