Technical writer

Requirements:

• Technical education/background (work experience as a software developer or QA is a big plus).
• Proficient user of PCs.
• Work experience as a technical documentation writer, in translation of technical documentation from English to Russian and visa verse.
• High level in Internet Sciences.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).

Responsibilities:

• To write, edit and maintain technical manuals, user guides, and technical documentation for company products in English.
• To write technical support documentation to convert it into on-line help system about product for end users in English.
• To communicate with product developers and QA team to understand the main principles of developed software.
• Communications with foreign colleagues by telephone, email, chat, etc.
• To prepare demonstrational materials and presentations about product in English.
• To edit and update the corporate web-site content (English and Russian versions).

Performance Measurements:

• Delivery against planned timescales.
• Quality of documentation content and grammatical correctness.
