Short description of the project:
Our client is a major international investment bank
Main responsibilities will include:
• Testing processes implementation
• Tracking and monitoring processes execution
• Team effectiveness and performance review and engagement with testing groups
• Testing scope correction and confirmation
• Create, review and ensure Sign off of Project Test Plan and Schedule for CT and SIT or regression testing
• Provides testing estimates and testing support requirement to Project Manager
• Project resource assignments and resource availability confirmation
• High-level risk and dependencies management for projects
• Works with test team to ensure delivery readiness
• Conflict resolution with Test team(s) and Project Manager(s), escalation in case of need
• Execute test strategy/plan and publish test status reports according to agreed frequency and standards
• Escalate potential risks and/or issues to Project Manager , Programme Steering & Operating Committees
• Status reporting to Project and Program Manager(s)
• Defect Management
• UAT Coordination
• Close cooperation with customer’s key users during UAT and SL3
• Release sign-off
Technical Experience/Background:
• General IT qualification and IT experience (7+ years)
• Excellent understanding of testing process, its role in software development
• Excellent understanding and experience in test management and team leading
• Excellent understanding and experience in estimation process, planning and tracking activities
• Excellent understanding of test design and its role in software testing
• Excellent understanding and experience in developing test strategy in different methodologies
• Excellent understanding of test automation process and its role in software testing
• Experience in test management (> 2 year)
• Experience in manual testing (>5 years)
• Experience in automated testing (>2 years)
• Experience in using QTP and SoapUI or similar tools
• Understanding and experience in testing for Java, Oracle DB, Oracle BI, PL/SQL, Unix shell
• Fluent written and spoken English
