Transport city assistant (Kyiv)
Local Organizing Committee EURO 2012 UKRAINE in cooperation with UEFA is currently looking for a Transport City Assistants (Kyiv).
Purpose of the position:
The Event Transport department aims to provide planning and delivery of Transportation Services for participating EURO 2012 target groups in particular: 16 National Teams, Guests and Staff, Match Officials: Referees, Doping Control, Match Delegates. The anticipated venues covered are all the official airports, hotels, stadiums and team base camps within the host countries of the UEFA EURO 2012 tournament.
This position covers a wide spectrum of Event Transport activities with an accent on supporting the City Transport Coordinator. He/She will help to manage the local Transport Team within the Host City.
Main accountabilities:
- To support the City Transport Coordinator in appointed tasks;
- To assist implement and adopt the Host City transport operations plan (bus, fleet, parking, venues);
- To co-operate with Event Transport responsible project leaders in dedicated areas;
- To assist in setting up, running and dismantling the ETRN back office;
- To assist the onsite training process of volunteers;
- To help in trouble-shooting in ETRN office.
Major requirements:
- higher education;
- 2+ years of relevant experience in fast and pressurized environment;
- experience in event operations is a plus;
- profound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- native Ukrainian and fluent English.
