Venue logistics manager
Local Organizing Committee EURO 2012 UKRAINE in cooperation with UEFA is currently looking for a Venue Logistics Manager (Donetsk/Kharkiv/Lviv).
Purpose of the position:
In scope of Event Logistics at the UEFA EURO 2012 venues is coordination of venue offices and venue deliveries, warehousing and heavy machinery management.
Venue Logistics Manager will implement an efficient and reliable venue logistics system at one of the UEFA EURO 2012 stadium (Donetsk/Kharkiv/Lviv), accordingly to the concept developed by the Event Logistics Management. On site organization and supervision of the all Event Logistics processes at the pretournament, tournament and dismantling phase.
Main accountabilities:
- providing of eventual support of Customs at City level;
- overseeing all Venue Deliveries, overview Venue Delivery System: organizing Logistics Point operations;
- organizing & supervision of onsite storage, including Logistics Compound operations;
- organizing & supervision of onsite inbound/outbound flow of material;
- responsibility for unloading and loading process at the venue;
- overview the office administration, including supplies stock and deliveries, office equipment maintenance etc.;
- management the process of set up and dismantling of Venue Equipment i.e. containers, toilets, fences;
- overview of the set up of venue furniture;
- responsibility for shuttle deliveries to the stadium (inbound and outbound);
- responsibility for allocation of Heavy Machinery, specialized staff and maintenance.
Major requirements:
- higher education (in Logistics is a plus, additional education in Project Management is an asset);
- 5+ years of significant experience in logistics (including warehousing);
- experience in team management – min.10 people;
- experience in big event operations is a plus;
- profound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word);
- work for an international organization is an asset;
- native Ukrainian and fluent English.
