Venue technical services manager (lviv)
Local Organizing Committee EURO 2012 UKRAINE in cooperation with UEFA is currently looking for a Venue Technical Services Manager (Lviv).
Purpose of the position:
Provides management support to the Technical Services Manager in definition and implementation of technical solutions at the Lviv stadium (including infrastructure, equipment and support services for power, water supply, climate control, audio systems, giant screens, waste managemet), and general support of the tournament operations.
During the tournament (including setup and dismentling phase) the role of Venue TECH Manager will be to supervise actions related to the technical solutions on Lviv stadium.
Main accountabilities:
- to support a good overall standard of infrastructure/equipment and to provide high level of service;
- to assist Technical Services Manager in the handling of the approval process and reporting (FAME system);
- to be a technical advisor for internal divisions regarding technical requirements and support for their responsibilities;
- to establish a lean updated information system with other departments and suppliers to ensure consistency;
- to participate in tasks with technical consultants and suppliers, including tendering procedures, budgets and applications for permits;
- to provide appropriate authorities/organisations with the technical arrangements in accordance with technical requirements;
- to provide additional technical support to the stakeholders, if required.
Major requirements:
- higher education (university technical degree);
- 3+ years of relevant experience (preferably in project management);
- experience in technical event business is asset;
- advanced PC user (MS Office, MS Project or equivalent, CAD programs (AutoCAD));
- fluent Ukrainian and proficient English.
