Venue transport coordinator (host cities)
Local Organizing Committee EURO 2012 UKRAINE in cooperation with UEFA is currently looking for a Venue Transport Coordinator (Host Cities).
Purpose of the position:
The Event Transport department aims to provide planning and delivery of Transportation Services for participating EURO 2012 target groups in particular: 16 National Teams, Guests and Staff, Match Officials: Referees, Doping Control, Match Delegates. The anticipated venues covered are all the official airports, hotels, stadiums and team base camps within the host countries of the UEFA EURO 2012 tournament.
To ensure a smooth implementation of the Event Transport operations in dedicated venue, with following UEFA Euro 2012 guidelines. To run the process of smooth transportation of all defined target groups in his/her venue in an efficient and fast manner. Coordination of the venue transport operations system in the tournament phase on behalf of the Event Transport Division.
Main accountabilities:
- Implementation of stadium transport operations (bus, fleet, parking)
- Co-operation and leading of Transport Service on particular venues, coordination with all relevant parties
- Management of the parking operations in particular: space (bus and car), pass system, workforce
- Collaboration with security venue coordinator, liaises with on-site Security Integration as necessary
- Advising the on-site security integration / ensure appropriate vehicles flow at the venue car park
- Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to
- Ensuring all venue parking equipment is maintained and in the right locations
Major requirements:
- higher education (ideally Airport/Logistics/Transport related is an asset);
- 3+ years of relevant experience in fast and pressurized environment;
- experience in event operations is a plus;
- profound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- native Ukrainian and fluent English.

Fixed term contract: 01.05.2012 – 30.06.2012 (depending on Host City).
