Eleks Software is a professional software development company focusing on providing value to its clients by delivering innovative best-in-the-class software solutions. We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team in L’viv office working on a major rewrite of the previous version of a customs activities automation system, cause by introduction of goods and services tax (technically a VAT). The successful candidate is supposed to: - Be able to understand business requirements - Have a solid understanding of ASP.NET 2.0 architecture - Have knowledge or desire to learn working with ASP.NET 2.0 web controls - Have basic understanding of AJaX - Be familiar with or be willing to learn MS ASP.NET AJAX - Understand web application architecture - Clearly understand CLR design - Clearly understand C# 2.0 language features - Be able to write clear code - Be able to write standard SQL DML statements - Understand advanced database programming topics - Be able or be willing to learn how to write Microsoft Transact-SQL stored procedures - Be familiar with or be willing to learn the Subversion VCS Good English writing and comprehension skills are required, possibility to conduct voice and live conferences is a plus. This is a permanent position in the company, since Eleks is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with high profile business and e-government application development being one of our areas of specialization. The company and each employee agrees upon a personal career plan. Successful candidate can be promoted to work stream leader or project manager position having demonstrated necessary skills, or continue professional growth as developer.
