Foreign retail property development company is expanding its business in Ukraine and looking for "Technical project manager"
Main responsibilities:
• Defining of the project’s technical design parameters, definition and management of the construction cost budget as well as the overall project time schedule;
• Control of the technical specifications from the client
• Appointing the external design team (architects, engineers another advisors) as well as managing the external design team meetings;
• Tender preparation, selection and concluding agreements with general contractor for the project;
• Obtaining the necessary construction permits and approvals to start construction and afterwards to open the project;
• Control of the conformity of the layout with the specifications in the contract
• Assistance to our contracting company for the organization and steering of foreign tender procedures to optimise pricing of building materials
• Supervision of the project during the construction phase (together with general and other contactors);
• Continuous evaluation and optimization (together with the other team members), of the overall project in terms of quality, time and costs throughout the development and construction process;
• Co-operation with the leasing team to co-ordinate tenant fit-out in the project;
Main requirements:
• University degree in Civil Engineering/Building or in a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the same position.
• Expertise in real estate branch in the Ukraine in general, and in the critical commercial and technical design parameters which are related to complex retail projects.
• Knowledge of the local construction legislation and permitting procedures, and the local construction market, both in terms of prices as well as players (contractors and suppliers)
• Supervisory experience of at least four (3) years.
• Good working knowledge of English.
• Demonstrated skills in the use of Computers for Construction Scheduling (Microsoft Project/ Autocad/ Autodesk), Cost Estimating, Cost Tracking and correspondence.
• Reliable and result oriented person, who is team player and who has strong communication skills.
• Integrity in business relations with general and other contractors
