Softjourn is looking for Senior Escalations Developer to work on a full time basis in Ivano-Frankivsk. You will have to be able to attend one month training in Toronto. Responsibilities: This is not an ordinary development role. This is a role where you will work with a massive code base and follow a problem across multiple domains and products. You are able to dive deep into unfamiliar territory without getting scared. You embrace this kind of challenge. You are the person that people turn to when they need critical problems solved - the buck stops with you. Your reward knows that the problems you solve have real business impact and add value. You do this by synthesizing information coming in from the customer support team and turn it into an actionable solution. Skills: • Able to do root cause analysis • Able to do reverse engineering • Able to leverage resources • Able to handle high pressure situations. • Able to be highly collaborative with other teams. • Able to pose useful questions. • Able to observe what's going on. • Able to describe what you perceive. • Able to think critically about what you know. • Able to form and test conjectures. • Ability to analyze someone else's thinking. Qualifications: • A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • A minimum of 5 years software development experience in a commercial software development environment.
